SAVE THE CHEERLEADER, SAVE THE WORLD (fandom and tv guide squeeage)
23rd-Oct-2006 10:51 pm
Organized by cut. Beware of spoilers!

HOUSE! Yeah, I saw the preview of this cover. And it's gorgeous.

I'm a bit disappointed as to the Hugh, Omar, Jennifer cover. I mean, I'm debating on whether this is symbolizing something, or they just picked three. I'd like it more if it was the whole cast, but... Ah, well. The Heroes cover last week was only Ali, Adrian, and Milo so...

The cast photo? LOVE. Lisa Edelstein looks especially wonderful. And all the guys looked great. :)

Very many interesting things mentioned in this article. I'm now very much looking forward to the whole House-gets-arrested storyline. Exciting! (ONE WEEK!)

"ER's John Stamos is set to play a gay party planner who organizes his brother's nuptuals in Wedding Wars, a romantic comedy airing December 11 on A&E. Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane plays the groom.

Huh. Just found this interesting.

"'While I prefer to keep my personal life private,' the Grey's Anatomy star said in a statement, 'I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me.'"

Sad. Though I'm proud of him. :)

"What's better than seeing Brad Pitt in 'Fight Club'? How about watching Seeley (David Boreanaz) throw some punches when he and Bones (Emily Deschanel) infiltrate an underground fight club ring during the November 8 episode of Bones. 'The way it's choreographed, it's pretty much just simple ducks, weaves, and punches,' Boreanaz says. 'I didn't take any hits, but the other guy told me I could punch him in the stomach. So I did. Then he was like, 'Well, maybe you should pull up a bit.''"

Yes. I love my husband. Oh so much. (and see the post below for my squeeage about 2x08!)

The captions on the pictures:

"'I named [my undercover character] Tony Scallion,' Boreanaz says. 'Tony Scallion is actually my father-in-law, an Italian cowboy out in Utah.'"

Aw, how nice of him. :)

"'My instincts just took over,' says Boreanz (with Deschanel, director Kate Woods and stunt actor Troy Brenna). 'I'm an East Coast guy. I've been in bar brawls.'"

Despite this, I still love my husband. :) DB is love.

"'When I read the script, I thought it sounded really great,' Boreanaz says. 'We only had a day to shoot the whole fighting sequence, so that was a challenge. But it came out great.'"

Uh, have I mentioned how excited I am for this episode???

Before I start: DAMN YOU DAVID ROSENTHAL! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TORTURE US SO?

Ahem.

Now you may read the article. :)

"Chatterbox Lorelai will soon utter the six words that have so far eluded her: 'With this ring, I thee wed.' Just months after calling off her engagement with Luke (Scott Patterson), Lorelai (Lauren Graham) will impulsively marry Christopher (David Sutcliffe) during a romantic trip to Paris (11/14, 8/7c, The CW). 'It's going to have a profound impact on everybody,' reveals exec producer David Rosenthal, who adds that the union reflects the 'deepening of their relationship.' But Luke and Lorelai aren't done. 'They are by no means forever separated,' Rosenthal hints. 'They're still very much a part of each other's lives, and will be in the future in significant and profound ways.'"

Yeah.

And WHERE'S MARTY? With all this L/L angst (AND CHRISTOPHER HATRED), I want some R/M fluff to swoon over. :P That, or Rory needs to get her ass over to London so I can tide myself over with R/L fluff until Wayne Wilcox comes back.

Now that that's out of the way...

Hiro is my hero. I love him.

The show keeps getting better and better.

I still don't quite understand the whole 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' bit, but whatever. I assume that'll be cleared up in time.

The Hiro/Nathen scene was great (and have I mentioned my newfound love of shirtless!Nathan?). And if Peter can paint without drugs, does that mean Isaac can too? I still wonder if Isaac can paint without them... But who knows?

I'm excited to see about Nikki's husband.

AND I LOVE MATT. He was so sweet to his wife. And that poor guy in the grocery store. I feel bad for the guy.

Though... I assume his wife'll catch on eventually. And I'd love to see what arises from that.

Yeah.

Lastly, did any of you CSI fans notice ARCHIE KAO? Saw his names in the credits and spazzed. :)

Hmmmm.... Where to begin?

Kat + Ethan = ♥, thank you very much. So cute.

Holly and the bunny was great. ("Can I get this bunny in a size 8?")

So were all the Halloween costumes. I mean, Superman? ("What does the 'S' stand for? 'Seriously'?") Jack Sparrow (this one was my favorite!)? A cowboy? Theodore Roosevelt? ("I'm sorry, I've got polio.") All love.

Gambling!Richie made my night. :) And the Duncan/Nicole moment was so sweet.

I love Richie/Lina too, despite Richie's wife. The trumpet scene was soooooo cute. Seriously. And I love that she used it to get back at her electric-guitar-playing neighbor. How cool was that?

Oh, and that ending picture? Kid!Richie and kid!Lina were adorable.

Whew! I think that's it. For now. :)
